Cycle syncing means planning your work, workouts, and nutrition around your menstrual cycle phases instead of ignoring them. The menstrual cycle has four phases: menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, and luteal. Each comes with a distinct hormonal profile that affects energy, focus, and mood. When you know which phase you're in, you can schedule demanding tasks at high-energy moments and rest without guilt when recovery is what your body actually needs.

The app shows your current cycle phase every day and gives you specific recommendations for that phase: what kind of work to prioritize now, what to postpone, what to eat, and what type of movement suits your body today. During the follicular phase you'll see suggestions for new projects and creative work; during the luteal phase, for finishing tasks and avoiding overcommitment. The Calendar tab lets you see upcoming phases ahead of time so you can plan your week accordingly.

Yes. Anima Cycle has no server and no account. All your data (cycle parameters, mood and energy logs) stays on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to external servers or shared with third parties. Your health data belongs to you and only you.

Anima Cycle is for any woman who wants to understand how her cycle affects her day-to-day life and use that knowledge practically. It works especially well if you plan your own schedule, whether you're a freelancer, entrepreneur, or just someone tired of feeling blindsided by energy dips and mood shifts that turn out to be completely predictable.

Most period trackers are built around one question: when is my next period? Anima Cycle starts there but goes further. It gives you daily recommendations for productivity, nutrition, and movement based on your current phase, tracks your mood and energy over time in the Insights tab, and offers educational content in the Learning tab that's adapted to what your body is going through right now. It's less of a calendar and more of a daily guide.

Anima Cycle calculates your phases from your own parameters — last period date, cycle length and period duration — so there are no population averages applied. But the deeper personalisation comes from logging your symptoms, mood, and energy as you go. The more you track, the more the app can show you your own patterns: how you actually feel in each phase, not how women are supposed to feel. Over time you build a personal picture — and the app's insights and recommendations start reflecting your biology, not a textbook average.
